PPGI(Pre Painted Galvanized Steel)
Antaeus offers pre-painted galvanized steel that renders excellent durability with resistance to corrosion and a high tensile strength. We understand the dynamic needs of our valuable clients; hence, we strive to maintain the quality and ensure that it complies with the internationally-approved parameters. Made of premium-quality cold rolled steel coils coated with protective metallic and strengthened with the layering of multiple organic coatings, the painted galvanized steel is manufactured in rolled form, bent form, pressed form, cut form, drilled form, lock-seamed form, and stamped form.
GI (Galvanized Steel)
Galvalume steel is a product that looks like galvanized steel, albeit with enhanced corrosion resistance, which makes it three times long lasting than the latter. The unique composition of 43.5% zinc, 1.5% silicon and 55% aluminum used for metallic coating makes this steel perfect for roofing solution. It can also be used as a base material for pre-painting.
PPAL (Pre Painted Aluminium)
Antaeus trades pre-painted aluminum sheets that have a coil coating and feature a Class 1 PVdF flexible paint system. The PVdF paint possesses excellent weather-resistance properties with color-fastness and UV resistance. A popular finish for construction works, this paint gives longevity to aluminum sheets. The sheets can be guillotined, punched, or bent, which results in a finished product. We get the sheets covered with a UV-resistant film and applied with directional arrows on the painted surface, which protect its finish during installation and fabrication.
PPGL (Pre Painted Galvalume)
Pre-painted galvalume has 55% of zinc-aluminum alloy coating on steel and is used in roofing and siding panels during construction works. The material is a popular choice for most architects and builders as it has clean lines, an unlimited spectrum of colors, and longevity, which eventually make buildings stay strong forever. The pre-painted galvalume also works well with other building materials, adding to its versatility. It also makes the steel more resistant to corrosion.
GL(Galvalume)
The formation of galvanized steel occurs when cold rolled steel is passed through a kettle containing molten zinc. By this coating process, the manufacturers ensure that the adhesion of zinc on the steel stays strong and forever and provides excellent resistance to corrosion—which is further done through a process called sacrificial corrosion. Galvanized steel is used in roofing, ducting, making base material for pre-painting, and other construction-related works. At Antaeus, GI is available in both coil and sheet forms.
CRC (Cold Roll Coil)
A cold roll coil is made using high-speed 4Hi, 6Hi or tandem rolling mills. Antaeus supplies cold rolled steel in both annealed and full-hard conditions. It has better surface qualities that make it a suitable substrate for galvanizing and also to be used as a raw material for tubes and pipes. Cold roll steel is famous for its consistency concerning flatness and shape.
HRC (Hot Roll Coil)
A hot roll coil has a process of rolling steel beyond its recrystallization temperature, which is typically above 1700 degrees Fahrenheit. This is done because steel can easily be shaped when heated above the recrystallization temperature. The hot rolled steel is manufactured without any delays, which is why it is lesser in price than the cold roll steel.
DB (Deformed Bars)
Deformed bars are used to add tensile strength to concrete structures. Concrete possesses strength under compression but has low tension ability, which is why these reinforcing bars (rebars) are manufactured to hold the concrete and masonry more strongly. These bars are made of steel and have patterned surfaces, which help in better bonding with the concrete. We deal in collections of carbon-steel bars, stainless-steel bars, glass-fiber bars, carbon fiber bars, and basalt fiber bars. The thermal-expansion coefficient of steel is almost same as of concrete, which is why they, when used together, result in minimal stress to a structure when climate changes.
